Commuter Council

The Commuter Council is an organization that serves as an advocate for commuter students. In past years, this group has organized social activities on campus and in the Rochester community including trips to bowling events, movie nights, and campus-wide commuter appreciation events.

Parking and Traffic Regulations

All commuter vehicles must be registered with the Office of Safety and Security located in the Haffey Hall lobby. The cost of a commuter parking permit is $100.00 per vehicle per year and must be displayed in your vehicle.

Commuter students may park in Lots A, C, F, I, S (formerly known as Park & Ride), and Z.

The Donald E. Bain Campus Center

The Donald E. Bain Campus Center serves as the hub and central gathering place for student activity on campus. The first floor contains the newly renovated Tepas Commons, the Ward-Haffey Dining hall, Campus Ministry, and a communal work and gathering space for student clubs and organizations called The Nest. The Nest contains offices for the Student Government Association, the Student Activities Board, Commuter Council, Residence Hall Association, and other campus organizations.

The second floor of the Campus Center houses the Offices of the Vice President for Student Affairs, Residential Life, Student Engagement and Leadership, Title IX, and Student Conduct, as well as meeting and workspace for students.

The Campus Center is open 24/7.
