12/12/2022 - With a new name, the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ will re-energize its mission of providing leadership development opportunities for boards of directors and professional staff at non-profits in the Rochester region.
12/09/2022 - Public relations and media management students interested in a future career in advertising and public relations agencies had the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of agency life thanks to the recent Agency Crawl, organized by PRSSA and a small student planning group.
12/09/2022 - Professor and Chair of Philosophy and Classical Studies, Dr. Timothy Madigan, was selected to participate in The Council of Independent Colleges’ (CIC) New Currents in Teaching Philosophy Institute over the summer. The event was held in Baltimore, Maryland and was supported by Andrew W. Mellon Foundation with additional backing from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
12/08/2022 - Every year, the Wegmans School of Pharmacy hosts a number events and observances both locally in Rochester and around the nation, to build connections, advocate for the profession, and celebrate pharmacy.
12/08/2022 - Over the last several months, faculty, students, and alumni have presented at pharmacy conferences across the country.
12/08/2022 - This fall, the Department of Media and Communication announced that the 2022 Seward Scholarship was awarded to students Emma Healy and Allison Lyons. The scholarship honors former faculty member Jim Seward and his 41 years of college teaching, over half of which were spent at °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳.
12/07/2022 - Senior Madeline Woods ’23 was named the 2022 recipient of the Martin Palumbos Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation (RABEF) Scholarship during the annual ETHIE Awards celebration, an Elevate Rochester event that recognizes ethical business practices among companies, nonprofit organizations, and professional firms in the Rochester community.
12/06/2022 - Student organizations and clubs at °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ have always created a robust campus life. Over the last couple of semesters, °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ students have continued this tradition by generating ideas for new clubs that will help students connect through shared and common interests.
12/02/2022 - For more than 20 years, students at °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ have participated in the annual °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ Creed signing, a symbolic gesture to show their commitment to eight lived values.
