AP, IB, and CLEP Scores (Credit By Examination)

°ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ recognizes AP, IB, and CLEP scores. The following information outlines how these scores translate to credits.

Transfer Credit

In recognition of the college-level coursework being completed at the high school level, °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ will consider granting credit for any coursework in which a student earns a grade of "C" or better. Once we have received the official college transcript, °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ will evaluate all credits on a case-by-case basis.

Pharmacy Transfer Credit

The Wegmans School of Pharmacy will accept AP, IB, and CLEP credits for certain courses towards the fulfillment of the pre-pharmacy requirements. The Wegmans School of Pharmacy will not accept AP, IB, and CLEP credits for fulfillment of the science courses (chemistry, biology, or physics) of the pre-pharmacy requirements.

AP Exams

°ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ recognizes the Advanced Placement (AP) Program and will grant standing and credit for courses in harmony with the curriculum to students who complete the Advanced Placement Test with a score of 3 or higher. Generally, a score of 4 or higher is required on exams in biology, chemistry, computer science, U.S. history, modern languages, physics, and world history.
